The Permanent Delegation of Turkey to the OECD is offering traineeship for Turkish students. Traineeship is unpaid and offered for 15 October - 15 December 2011 for two trainees at most.  

Requirements for the candidates

Turkish citizenship (dual citizenship is also acceptable)

Studying full time or recently graduated from the field of economy or in another discipline related to the different areas of work of the OECD (e.g. social affairs, trade, agriculture, development, education, employment, environment, finance, fiscal affairs, statistics, and law, among others)

Submission of an academic paper or a published article, if any

Proficiency in English and/or French and ability to draft texts in one of these languages (presentation of a valid certification of the language proficiency will be an advantage)

Capability of working as part of a team

Description of work (i.a)

Participate in OECD meetings, such as accompanying Delegation staff

Search documents and analyze existing work in a particular area

Gather, organize and evaluate information

Keep record of notes and participate in the drafting of reports

Contribute to web site

Conditions

The Delegation does not offer accommodation. Therefore trainees are expected to cover their own expenses, including housing.

Trainees are required to have full health insurance covering their entire stay in France for the traineeship.
